My collection of 8R stoves and Soviet clone. The newest of the 8R's didn't have the attachment for tool and most I have seen come with a tool key that doubles as a control. Mine has the control knob found on previous models and not sure if this was original or swapped out? IMG_20251123_143545.jpg IMG_20251123_143626.jpg IMG_20251123_145846.jpg

I believe the clip for the small wrench was famous for falling off (as mine did). I now keep the wrench attached to the inside of the lid with a small magnet.

All of mine are intact though the later 8R deleted the clip and provided a tool (same as on Svea 123) on a chain instead. For some reason when I got mine it had the older style control knob but no tool of any type. Not sure if it came originally this way or a previous owner had swapped it out?

Nice collection. Now, fire up those babies and let the camera roll.
