Bought a Vintage "Ravia - Utility stove". Model M1, made by CJ Thomas & sons. It's a gravity fed methylated spirit single burner with a heavy one piece enameled cast iron base/trivet. It's not running, as the fuel tube is bent and parted company with the tank. Found some Ravia info here RAVIA METHS STOVE There's not that much compiled information about the Ravia brand. but have found that "Ravia - Camp stove" Model M8 do exist, similar to maxie marine double burners (made by "Ravia Products Pty Ltd" 18 Dillon st, Kogarah, NSW.) The historical timeline of these stoves is mysterious, wild guessing post ww2 into the 1980's,?
Thought it looked quite old, possible post ww2 era. It appears to be complete, but isn't operational (broken/bent fuel tube to tank).
Here are some specifications (C/- the classic caravans forum) The Ravia stove series goes from M1 to M7 here, (i've also found a M8 stove was sold online)
Some more pics, it runs on methylated spirits gravity feed, Label says "Australian distributors: CJ Thomas Pty Ltd" "Melb. Sydney. Rep. All states"
