They're very clever our dogs Ken, they also seem to remember when my birthday is as well. Don't think I'd get any otherwise.
I've found leaving a list of suggestions pinned up near the cat bowl does the trick. Think she tells the dogs.
My dog is great at cleaning up anything remotely edible that falls on the floor. My cats are best in supervisory positions.
When you feed a dog the dog looks at you and says I love you. When you feed a cat it looks at you says You Must Love Me.
We have to put the cat food down wearing a welders glove. It's not 'you must love me' more like get your a##e into gear fat boy.
Your cat will change its attitude if you hiss and spit back at it when its behaviour is not acceptable. The first time you do it you should record a video to catch the cats reaction. It will be utterly flabbergasted that you can actually do this. Say fffittt-fffitt loudly in its face and also hiss like you are trying to blow out air over something hot in your mouth while smiling
WE are domesticated. Not all cats have the same skill when it comes to training their humans, though.

Maybe members should stop adding cats, dogs (and any other animals) to the thread. The thread started off well, talking about Coleman filler cap washers, possible places to get them, how to make them and suggestions of suitable tools.
