Ben You are teasing again... I don’t know if any of these ever came to Australia. Cheers Tony @z1ulike
If you can't read French I'll take it off of your hands and learn French! lol Super cool but out of my bank account reach. Alex
Has shades of Borde but seems more refined and a bigger diameter. I can't read French so I am curious about the diameter and length. A clever design and a nice and compact one. Thanks for showing it and increasing my wish list.
Congratulations Ben, and welcome to the exclusive #9 club. You are welcome thought it is not a Halmia The original canvas suit is a plus. Bo
HOLY MOLY, @z1ulike , Ben, Does that mean that, now, you have two of these wonderful stoves????!!!! It looks to be in very good condition, and as Bo said, getting the canvas bag is REAL plus!!! Hearty congratulations on being the one who scored this lovely bit of Stove History, my friend!!! You are truly blessed!! Thanks for sharing your treasure, and God Bless! Every Good Wish, Doc
No, I've only got one Doc. This is the one I bought from France a while back. Just now getting around to posting. Ben
Hey, Ben, Ahhh.... I was getting ready to have a heart attack at the thought of two of those being so close to me, yet, so far away!!! Again, excellent score, and congratulations, my friend! Have fun with it, and God Bless! Mark (who is drooling all over the computer at the moment!!)
@z1ulike Great find Ben. Good to see it fired up and therefore lacking the fuel tank stress cracks that seem to plague this design. Such as Doug’s example that I encountered. John
@presscall I hadn't seen that repair job before. Most impressive! My stove isn't holding pressure very well but it's not because of a stress crack. I need new packing around the control spindle and I suspect a new gasket for the pump. I didn't have time to fettle it so I just pumped like crazy then quickly took a photo. By the way the stove was running on Coleman fuel though I understand it will also run on kerosene. Ben
Welcome to CCS. I cannot imagine that Ben would want to let go of a stove he searched for so long to acquire.
Good Morning, @AliSK , Good luck getting Ben to part with his stove!!! Most of us have searched for those stoves for many decades, and had no luck in getting one. Just the way of it, I'm afraid. Best of luck, and God Bless! Every Good Wish, Doc
