This thread is relevant to my interests - thanks for posting! Although I really don't need another shellite (white gas) stove, why should that be relevant? BTW no pump and no wick - then how does it work? I thought the 123 needed the wick to draw the white gas up sufficiently to be vaporised on the way to the burner? If there is no pump or wick, how does that happen? My other concern is the lack of SRV, when the burner appears much closer to the tank. Mind you, I never really liked the idea of releasing a cloud of gasoline vapors under a red hot burner in the first place - and I understand they very rarely vent anyway. But surely there must be some form of pressure release somewhere?
Think about the M1950 etc They also have a stainless steel tank and no safety release valve. Of course they have a military spec as well. I have seen a couple of srv releases before I started collecting. None were my stoves but one stove I own now did have a safety valve release. First one was spectacular. It was an upright stove similar to an Optimus 80 and the valve was pointing in. The hunter who owned it grabbed it by the lid and tried to get it out of the hut. He got to the door and there was a large bang. We did look for the burner but never found it. Others were 8rs and just got a candle flame at the valve
@JP2 Level noise is similar than russian "Tourist", Primus 8r, Primus 71, SVEA 123, Juwell 34,... Less than MSR Dragonfly, BRS 8 or Primus omnifuel. @Alcoholic Lixiada stove tank is like a seltzer bottle. Most of liquids, in normal conditions, have a vapour pressure. Vapour pressure increases when heating. At last, vapour pressure is equal atmospheric pressure and then the liquid boils and became gas. When you priming your stove, gasoline vapour pressure increases and push up the liquid to the burner (like a seltzer bottle). @geeves My Coleman 442 neither has a safety valve.
This is a hard work for a little stove: At last, tank was hot. Arround 50ºC or 60ºC... Chickpeas! Chickpeas & sweet sausage (pork) cooked with apple (flavored with cinnamon and lemon peel)
I got one of these off eBay with shipping to Canada - $60US. Nicely made and lit the first time in the usual way with no fuss. Familiar loudness. Strong flame. No pressure valve but the tank doesn't get very warm so hopefully not an issue...let's hope.
Interesting, no wick. Should work on alcohol with modification + add a silence burner and you are good to go. The burner seem to have a bigger circumference compare 123 or 8r, which silence burner may go there?
Alan, your best bet is to go to Aliexpress, and enter "Lixada" in the search engine. Then simply search for the cheapest offer. One important detail; have a close look at postage cost! What looks like a real bargain can be rather expensive once postage is added (I prefer the "free" postage!)

Hi all. Have it stove. Made some winter tests today. BTW, jet & burner bell in Lixada and ussr PT-1/PT-2 (optimus 8r soviet clone) is identical! Think valve axel & jet pricker identical too. Burner visually is same/similar to ussr PT-2 stove

So does the Svea SRV fit on the Lixada? Or any other SRV? I'd like to modify mine to have a pump for easier priming.
The Lixada fuel cap has an inner diameter of 15mm and a finer thread pitch than the Svea/Optimus NRV fuel cap (ID=18mm).
