    Ahhh…a Heinze Geniol. They go for quite a few pennies these days. A great stove.

    I see that. I wonder if the recent supply ran out.
    I have a new one that I never used.

    @snwcmpr

    I acquired my 2 Geniol’s a good number of years ago when the supply of these superb stoves were relatively plentiful. Like you, one of them is NOS which I’ve not fired up and the other is a user.

    I think you are correct, they are now more difficult to come by than they once were.

    Yes, It seems I arrived to this hobby a bit late and am making some online sellers quite happy.

    More than a bit late. I used to have a rule that I would never pay more than $60 for a stove.:lol:

    Pretty soon it will cost that much to buy a tank of fuel.

    Not very exciting possibly but ( Sunday ) dinner’s on the go so I thought I’d give the Stesco a run out. Doesn’t see the light of day very often.

    First burn test on my first coil stove, I could Taykit or leave it...

    But seriously, this thing really cooks. 20260112_113931.jpg

    I took a short hike to a hill nearby. The forest wasn't too dark as there was fresh snow. Optimus 99 with a BD cap made the evening brew possible.
