ThIs is the second Turner 1161 I've redone this month. The first was a dark, almost olive green. This one was definitely brown from the factory. It started like this.

To find a color match I first find a spot of good paint (behind the data plate is almost always a spot of original paint). In this case a spot on the bottom was good. Then I polish it with some rubbing compound to get back as close as I can to the original finish. So here's my target spot after polishing.

Then I take my possible colors, I had four browns on hand, spray the end of a Q-tip and dab on a spot of paint.
This is how my four colors came out.

I picked the second from left as my match. It turned out to be Behr Baronial Brown. This is the first time I've used this paint from Home Depot and I was pleased. Sprayed on well, dried reasonably quickly. As soon as it's dry to the touch I bake it at 170-200 for 30-45 minutes.
Next came the electrolysis tank for 2-3 days. After the e-tank I rinsed with the garden hose and dried in the N Florida sun. This is fresh out of the e-tank.

Then I ran it through my sandblaster with medium glass bead. Washed again in hot water then toweled off and blown dry with the air compressor. Then paint. Here's the finished product.

@cottage hill bill Looks very nice, can be proud of your work. Did you make or buy the correct size Turner sticker? Thanks.
