    Ditto, only thing I don't like is the type of clip needed to keep the cup on the shaft. Don't think anything else can work well outside of a shaft from older models.

    BTW, does anyone have a good way of removing the retainer clip?

    The top one is “Ye Olde” leather one.
    Second one down is O-ring version.
    Third one down is an O-ring pump shaft that I’ve machined to take a leather valve setup, currently available from a UK eBay vendor. If you look carefully to the left of the 4mm Nyloc nut, you’ll see a slight undercut in the 0.193” (4.9 mm) machined dia. - that’s from the original manufacture.
    Fourth one down is from Base-Camp, unusual for their normal high quality, the piston is fixed - does not float to act as an air valve on the back stroke.
    If you know of any model engineers in your locality - it’s a really easy mod.
    You might need to give it an extra pump stroke, to compensate for the slight reduction in shaft length.

    @The Warrior

    I use a small spanner or screw driver on the top side of the clip, and tap the spanner with a peening hammer to manoeuvre the clip off. Oil the shaft.

    @Tony Press

    I didn't realize it was that easy, haha. Thanks.

    @Harder D. Soerensen

    Thanks for the offer, appreciate it. I cancelled my order for viton o-rings, as I have another solution on the way.

    Does anyone know where one can purchase a push on nut for the 111B pump rod?

    Hi @The Warrior
    Best, fastest and cheapest option is to measure the diameter of the pump rod and then search for “Starlock Washer” with the correct measurements.
    Worked for me, when fettling a couple of the older MSR burners.

    @Harder D. Soerensen

    Thanks!

    The pump rod end measured 3.9 mm where the clip goes on according to my calipers. I'll google it.
