    The trivet is the icing on top of the cake! A rare enough stove itself, but the trivet! :mrgreen:
    It's almost worth getting a few re-cast for wall art!! :lol:

    A couple of years ago I had did just that. I had a Vesuvius 100 that needed a grate so I borrowed one from a CCS member and mailed it off to the Auburn Stove Foundry in Maine. They made several copies at a cost of $50 each as I recall. I returned the original undamaged to its owner. Later I acquired an original shown here for comparison. The reproduction is on the left and the original on the right in these photos.

    So, I'm going to enquire with that foundry (not too far from here) about getting an original Primus No. 1/5 cast iron trivet reproduced. i have one here that is pristine. I'll let you know how I get on. Peter
