Found at a garage sale last weekend, .25 cents, removed the remaining paint, a little buffing with that fine "Solvol Autosol" metal polish.
Does anyone know when this funnel was made ?

    Cheers

    Hello Stelllar,

How is the weather out west?
    Nice funnel and great price!

If you look at page 3 or 3 of this 1941 catalog you will see one just like yours.

Hard to tell of the age without any markings.
    But I would say 1940's

    Cheers,
    Jeff

    Hi Jeff, Thanks for the 1941 Coleman catalog link, the funnel illustrated is similar in construction and materials used, the weather here is rather wet & windy with another week of the same expected ;-{
    Cheers'

Hi there, Thanks for the link and yes it is the same, a small usable gem, the shine is quickly oxidizing as non coated copper will, although a quick dip in the lemon juice will bring it back, I enjoy dark brass and copper stoves and accessories but also enjoy bringing them back to life at least once.
    All the best........ 1258489301-Coleman-No_0.funnel.detail.jpg

    Hello,

    Thanks for the pictures!

I had one like yours but made in the States. I haven't been able to find it.
The weather here has been great, though they tell me this week will be more seasonal norm. I was out in B.C. last week. Don't miss the rain. I guess you don't have to shovel rain though.

    Cheers,
    Jeff
