Still looking for replacement outer burner caps for PATRIA #94305 from Portugal. Don't know if original caps are still available. I'm down to my last five and they seem to burn up after three to five months with the fuel I am using presently. Would appreciate any help I can get finding a supplier. Bry
You're the fella that's on a boat and can only get hold of poor quality fuel in the places you're visiting? John
Hi John... yup, I'm that loser. Still struggling here in the Dominican Republic. I love my kerosene stove but the fuel here is lamp oil... yellow with bits floating in it. Very dirty to burn! Anyway I need outer caps. The contact in the USA, A&H, wants $19US each for the caps... a bit rich for my blood. I was hoping to contact the manufacturer in Europe and buy perhaps a couple of dozen caps. It's either that or switch out the burners to something more durable with better parts availability. Or switch to propane. Thank you for your interest and your reply. Best, Bryan
Oh yes, Laitch... through the same filter I use to filter my diesel fuel. It takes out the dirt and sometimes I get a bit of water. There is also an in-line strainer between my tank and the stove. So far, no problems with blockages. Just my outer caps are burning up. Now it is to be remembered that this is my primary cooking stove and my wife bakes bread etc.so the stove is fired up for several hours a day. Maybe these pressurized kerosene stoves are not designed for this kind of use, day after day; year after year. Thank you for your response. Bryan
