Primus in Smithsonian Museum

    Second leg of this summers "holiday" took us through Washington DC. The "little man" and I went through the Air and Space Museum where I found this Primus mixed in with an exhibit on Arctic exploration.

    I would suspect that we all think these are works of art. I guess this clinches it.

    They may have just been happy not to have lost the reserve cap?

    I was just there a couple of years ago, and I do not remember seeing that.

    Aye, good luck cooking without pot stands. Perhaps they were removed so we could see the beauty of the burner column? Brass = class. :)

    I encountered this little juwel on display at the adirondak museum. The curator said it had been this way since the 80's!
