Kocher BUND military stove

    Somebody knows when these were produced? I saw in papers follow 1947 month 6 ? But it has NATO number certified. NATO was establish in 1949. Confused. My stove is unused.

    1980s is much more in keeping with that plastic funnel.

    i could only find one video of this interesting stove on youtube, but it does show the blow torch lighter/pre-heater in action. beautiful stove but plenty of gadgets on it.

    Pre heater is not recommended.

    the burner removing wrench in place is a cool idea. somebody was having a ahah day when they figured that out. i love it.

    so i'm confused. what is the thing that looks like a wrench that spans the tank under the bruner?

    That would be the EEBSS(Extremely Effective Burner Stabilization System)

    ahah, found another video of meths being used to pre heat the heinze-geniol burner. really robust looking stove.

    There are a few threads about windscreens being made for the burner. And @Tony Press has a few nice posts about his adventures with the stove. Like I said, it is one of my favorite stoves.
