There is waterslide paper made for laser printers also. This is better than inkjet as the colors will not run. Those who have a color laser printer (or can get use of one) will get better results. With inkjet you have to spray a clear coating to get a durable decal, laser does not need a coating (to my knowledge).

A few years ago i made some Tilley decals with golden background in this way: Printing on clear decal paper, apply on golden self-adhesive foil and stick on the lamp.

@Matthias Redrawing the decal in vector graphics sounds like an awful lot of work (I tried with vector magic but the results were not good. But then I don't know what I am doing!). So if you are willing to devote the time it will be very much appreciated
Wow is not enough, double WOW!! the vertrical lines are not supposed to be vertical they are at the same angle as the sides of the base of the stove/heater. This photo is take square on From the top left hand point of the B to the top right hand point of the E is 101mm. from the bottom point of the B to the bottom point ot the E is 105mm. The height of the B left hand point to point is 22mm The height of the E right hand poiunt to point is also 22mm. The black line above reg trade mark is point to point 92.5 mm as best as I can read it. the points are not well defined. Any other measurments that may be needed please let me know. This stove is one many projects that I have waiting for me. Geoff
@Geoff Chirnside Thanks for the observations about the non-vertical lines. I first thought it was because of the camera angle. Obviously you are absolutely right. Here is the image made by @Matthias with a slope introduced and on a transparent background.
I used @Matthias file and printed these on a clear decal sheet. The colors are surprisingly good. Are the dimensions acceptable?

If you compare Shagatork's photo and mine you will see that they are different versions of the same decal and are no doubt from different times of production. The obvious differences on mine are that the centre cross bar of the E's do not have the points, the o in No is elongated and the flourishes on the E's T and C are different in shape Mine Shagatorks If you start looking close you will see other proportions are not quite the same. My measurements are reliable but may not be entirely relevant to the image being produced. Hopefully someone that has the same version can add measurements that may be more helpful. Geoff
