Optimus 111, presuming kerosene. As purchased, burning with the fuel that was in it.

    Smoky priming (indicative of kerosene)

    Nice flame after priming.

I bought this Kenyon Marine alcohol stove earlier this year. I finally decided to light it today. I need to go through it and do some cleaning.

Saturday is flame taming day… Here is my Optimus 181 beauty. The sharp eye will notice that the 181 is placed on another legendary stove, the original coke fuelled Swedish AGA stove. Ours was installed 1935 and is still cooking cold winter weekends.

    Hello,
Manufacturer in the photograph, but since it is a company which does not already exist, I do not know in detail.
    Probably a model of 50s to 60s.
I am a beginner to the stove. It was the first fuel stove. Restored the old ones in the photo.
I got information on this site and was able to restore.
    I appreciate the activity here.
This stove is easy for beginners to handle and fire power is great.

    Thank you @Tony Press
I have not known that kerosene stove exists in Japan.
Structurally it seems to be using a European type pump & Coleman's generator.
This stove was relatively well preserved, so it was easier to recover than the old motorcycle.
It took a while to understand the principle of kerosene pressurized stove.

Found this Optimus 11 in Sweden a while back. Have wanted a user version of this great stove. Rusty case with a defective latch and a clogged burner. Finished cleaning the burner tonight with heat and comressed air method. Will clean and fix the tin later.
The 11 is easier to regulate from simmer to full power than a 111 roarer. I really like it. This stove has a serious output.
