So far so good and I have bought the kit of 3 tools, seal, cup and NRV. With the NRV, I could fixed 2 stoves. On the 3 tools, one is for NVR and the others tools are for small nipple and one has a joint to remove nipple on a roaster.
I don't know to much about NVR tool and when I will received some special bit grainder, I will make it deeper. Juliands

I bought a tool from Juliands.. ( it was rubbish ) but every other transaction with him has been great...I dont want to give the wrong impression. It didnt work for one nrv...it just opened up to a point it would grab anything.

I also bought a tool from Julian Shaw of Tilley Lamps & Stoves and, like @OptimusPrime, I found that it didn't fit the first NRV I used it on. It was a standard NRV as far as I know, in a Primus No.2, and the slot in the tool was simply too big. Thankfully the NRV was not seized at all but freely rotating, so the tool still worked. However I would not use the tool again for fear of stripping the head (rounding it off) of the NRV. To be frank it was disappointing given the otherwise good reputation of the seller who has an easy to purchase and excellent range of otherwise hard to obtain parts, consumables and tools. The leather pump washers he sells are inferior to the excellent Fettlebox ones too, but as far as I know they are original grade. The first time I fettled a stove / lamp I didn't understand why experienced fettlers made such a big noise about using the best washers but the difference they make is quite phenomenal, especially when you're out in the field! Sorry to ramble on but just a few thoughts that may help someone new to the game, searching "NRV tool" as I did when I first bought a classic stove!

Excellent info from all. I'm expecting my 3- tool set any day in the mail. NRV for Hipolito 1 has been cleaned up and is waiting reinstalling. I'll be using fettlebox viton in lieu of original lead one which by the way took some patience to pick out of bottom of pump tube!!
The ones from Kenyon Marine (also sold by Ess-Kay Yards) are pretty good. ....Arch Newbie to the world of Vintage stoves. I got hooked fast and now have 8 of them. Will these tools fit the Optimus 111b NRV? Thanks for any help you can give.
@Thomas Gann also contacted me via a private conversation, and I gave him the following answer: Hi Thomas, Yes, the Kenyon tool will work on 111b (and most other) NRVs. There are better tools, but they are custom ones made by stovies who are also talented machinists, and are only available sporadically. The Kenyon tool is better than the Optimus tool mainly (my opinion) because it is thicker and heavier and so less likely to slip off the NRV while torquing, and round the corners off the NRV in the process. You can make the Kenyon tool more “slip” resistant by wrapping the shaft with tape or inserting it in a rubber hose so it fits tighter in the pump tube. Another trick: If the NRV doesn’t come out easily by turning the tool, try clamping the tool in a vise and turning the tank. In all cases, remember the pump tube is soft thin brass and can be bent or cracked by twisting too hard. In this case, penetrating oil (50:50 mix of acetone and ATF is good) and time (days or weeks) is better than breaking the pump tube. Best of luck. If you have any problems, search the site for “NRV removal” and you’ll have a lot to read. If you want more support, post in the “Fettling Forum” and people will walk you through the process. I’m betting your R&R will be an easy fix if you get the Kenyon tool, but sometimes NRVs can be a real pain. Best wishes. ....Arch
