Hi Optimus No 11 Stove. Looks like was repainted in black. But is no dent on the tank and all the original parts are there. The only thing looks to be missing is the key. If anybody has the box original color and can send me a clear pictures I will appreciate. Thank you ///Fernando
Why do you think it was painted. I believe some were black. I painted mine Charleston Green made by Rustoleum. BD researched it as the closest match. https://www.rustoleum.com/product-c...ve-enamel-spray?ls=214086&lc=Charleston Green
Nice stove and great photos! Thanks for posting. A No.11 is on my wish-list to help complete my Optimus box family Alec.
Looks to be in great condition! The first time I see a N°11 with silent burner, I thought they only came as roarer? I have no idea when production of the 207 burner started, maybe this is a later "conversion"? Best regards, Wim
I neglected to say that I really like the silent version of one of my favorite stoves. I have more than one favorite. Painting, if you choose to do it. Here is some of what I did. https://classiccampstoves.com/threads/optimus-11-case-reassembly.28660/ https://classiccampstoves.com/threads/optimus-11-painted-case.28711/ And Look here. Looks like yours has the same dark green tint. Almost black, but not quite. https://classiccampstoves.com/threads/early-optimus-no-11.16131/
Hi Guys Thank you for your help The stove is really in great condition No damage on the box and also no damage on the tank. Inside the box I can tell this stove use to be green but for some reason some body paint it on black. I want to give it the original color Thank you guys ///Fernando
