I have just bought a Taylors stove No 062R and would like to restore it but the copper tubing from the tank is missing. Anybody got any pictures of a complete one. It would be much appreciated.Ted Rawson.
Howdy, @plumberted , Found this, right here on CCS, which may well help you: Taylor's Para-Fin single burner stove Also, another gem about Taylor's stoves: https://classiccampstoves.com/threads/blakes-lavac-taylors-owners-manual.19254/ And check this out on another forum: Taylors 030 kerosene stove ongoing issues - Cruisers & Sailing Forums That should give you some food for thought. How about posting some photos of your stove, please? Good luck, and God Bless! Doc
My god, Coke to clean a burner. ??????????? Where that come from? Lolo I am sure someone did try it with amoniac. ????
Here's some pics. The guy I bought it from had converted it with the aid of valves and plastic tubing and it works OK.The brass fitting on the tank is a non return valve. He gave me the 2 original burners and control keys so I would like to restore it to as near original condition as is possible but would like some idea of the original copper pipe arrangement.Any help with pics or diagrams would be much appreciated as I would like to have it in good working order for the Newark rally.
Hi-I noticed your pressure tank looks identical to the Taylor’s tank for my boat heater. I’ve got it up and running, actually chugging away right now. This will be the last time until I find a replacement leather cup for the pump, as it just fell apart. Any recommendations for a replacement?
