The pair for $15 this evening, everything moves on the Juwel. I guessing it burns kerosene, but I’ve no notion as to what model it is, whether it’s missing parts, or how to begin cleaning it up. The last bit should be easy enough to google, but any help getting me started with identifying it, getting running, or cleaning it up will be much appreciated...
Hello Haggis. That Juwel IMHO should be cleaned with detergent and water only after disassembly. Make sure the burner is not clogged. Clean the tank inside. replace all washers and NRV / pump leather if it is too brittle. Maybe remove the rust from the pot supports but just clean and get it working. That thing has history and was obviously nit used much just stored poorly. As for the other stove it seems to be a brute and heavy. i would bet it can be a safe stove to use also but i surmise it is a smelting furnace of some sort.

The other beast is a Unique kerosene plumber's furnace. I would like to see more pics and compare with my Model 55. See post here. Unique MFG Co No 43 Is "Unique' stamped on the pump knob?
Ok...Unique it is. Yours is a slightly different model as it has the air bleed device, the model 55 does not have it. I cleaned mine up and it roars. I also have a Juwel 41.
