Thanks to @Mark Layman, I am now is possession of three of NOS Primus Part 4129 burners. I need to find some flame rings for these burners. I ditched the asbestos washer and swapped for a Fettle Box one. I will fit this burner to my favourite stir frying stove, my Primus No. 2 that currently gas a Liberty burner on it. Hi @Tony Press . Nice photos of a No. 4129 burner and wrapping paper. I wonder when it was manufactured? The wrapper has A/B B A Hjorth & Co which indicated pre-1955 when the company name was changed to BA BAHCO. The top of the burner has PRIMUS SWEDEN and some Arabic lettering. I know that Primus included some Russian Cyrillic lettering on their burners as late as 1936, so this burner is likely later than that date. The Primus No.21 stove mentioned on the wrapper was discontinued around 1951 I believe. However it might still have been mentioned on stove spares, like burners... So your NOS Primus burner might be from the pre-WW2 to 1955 period. Best Regards, Kerophile.
@Tony Press I am glad you got an original for your No. 2 plus some extras. I used mine for a home brew stove job. It works great if you saw my post of flame pics.
@kerophile My steel “Liberty” No. 2 flame ring slips neatly inside my NOS Swedish flame ring. Both fit the 4129 burner. Degrees of freedom... Cheers Tony
Where the hell did you find these bad boys? just spent hours trying to fix mine after a fracture in one of the up pipes caused a leak.. got her back in business though very tricky to re braze these burners , i almost gave up trying to get it hot enough
