Hi friends Here is my Comet Scout No6. hope you like it. be safe friends HAPPY THANKSGIVING ///Fernando
Really? White Gas/Petrol/Benzine/Aspen? I didn't know they were dual-fuel capable over 100 years ago. I see a pressure release screw as on Kerosene stoves, and a pressuriser pump, but also there is a T handle at the fuel feed pipe, that could be a gasoline-type throttle. [Fuel feed regulator.] I have always admired the Comet Scout and its triangular arrangement, so much more aesthetic than those common discus stoves. This kind of stove was carried on the Shackleford Antarctic Expedition.
Hi @Fernando Alicea Wonderful stove but I too am concerned that you are running it with white gas fuel: From this thread: Stove Handy Hints Best Regards, Kerophile.
Hi friends Very valuable information. I ran the stove in kerosene and I also ran it in gasoline. I completely agree with the information. I also understand the consequences of a mistake when we are using gasoline in a kerosene stove. I Always be super careful. Thank you I really appreciate it /// Fernando
