Where is the best place to get them

You can also fashion your own missing parts, the pot stands and wind screens, for example are fairly simple. There are threads here that describe the process.

I bought straight rod from a hardware store to make some. Tent pegs and peg board parts have also been used

What about a homemade flame spreader

 

I have seen homemade flame spreaders here. made from door knob parts I think. I'm looking, But I'm not the best with the search function.

 

I'll do more searches, They are here somewhere. I may have seen brass bells used for flame rings also. Cut close to size then final shaped on a trailer ball or beer bottle neck.

Looks like you need a proper vented fuel cap, otherwise, you have no way to control your flame. Basecamp should be able to help you with that. The Optimus 00 is a wonderful stove, and well worth fettling back to life, and enjoying!! Take a look at this post I added to the Reference section, the photos of which will show you the proper vented fuel cap.

Still waiting on 1 from Julian and another from fettlebox 120 sterling

 

I made one using some copper plumbing pipe, I had to anneal it many times to put the flair in it but I did have the advantage of my years as a motor body repairer and
still having all my tools.
It worked great and gave a nice colour to the flaame. The concensus though as they are not long lived in copper so i replaced with a cap from Fettlebox as soon as i could,

 

@Kiwi NZ What size copper pipe did you use

 

Whatever matches the burner size.
