fuel tank does not pressurize dismantled everything but could not get to the check valve in the fuel tank
Hi, usually pump valve is accessible through the pump tube, you need a special key to remove the valve. Do you have the correct tool? When pumping do you feel air entering into the tank or the pump doesn’t make any resistance? Maybe you also need to replace the pump leather cup. Nicola
Hi, If it is an Op.155 the pump tube unscrews from the tank: Optimus Marine 55/155 exploded view However, if you fear crushing the pump tube you should make a long NRV removal tool like this: Optimus 155 dismantling/reassembly Optimus 155 dismantling/reassembly Best Regards, Kerophile.
Pump doesnt pump and resistance, no pressure in tank, nrv stuck or an obstruction, methodology to clearing the problem, look in tube to make sure there isnt a big pile of old goop and broken leather etc then remove and check nrv. Not much else it could be with a pump.
Thanks to everyone, now I know it's an Optimus 155, and the advice with the links is greatly appreciated. ps no air sound when attempting to pump. Thanks all, again.
