@RBoe @Chris Smith I have had luck with DIY method and wine cork. Cork is soft and works well for pips and easy to replace. Does not need to be perfect circle to work. May check site sponsor Fettle Box for light spring, one in 22B kit. Flipping old PIP to new surface sound good, but you are still using old hard PIP. Should be replaced with soft fresh one. Can check for leaks at cap with soap bubble very quickly. Can place pump end in water and check it see if is passing air. These Enders stoves can be frustrating at times, just keep at it.
That looks like a reasonable fix but given that the fuel is naptha based (Coleman fuel or similar) I would wait until you can get genuine viton pips. Dont forget, with this type of fuel, the failure mode is often a fireball that its virtually impossible to stop or get away from.
Thanks for posting that picture. It shows me that I'm also missing that brass bit the pip is mounted too. The previous owner only has the spring in the NRV area. No pip and no brass bit that goes between the pip and the spring. I wonder just how hard it is to find something that will work.
In the fishing world there are some cork restoring products @snwcmpr of course, no idea if it is fuel compatible. but all that said, just make a new pip
@sefaudi Hi Sefa. Posts above, you were mentioned regarding your pump cup washers for an Enders 9061. John
Uups Sefa was faster, too much work, too less good CNC-Turning-workers at job... If somebody needs what, tell me. RJ
Hi Sefa and RJ, always good to see you active on CCS! Actually i have a question for both of you, what are your personal stove collections like assuming you both collect.?
Hello Colin, i don't know how much stoves I really have, more than 50? 4 years ago I reduced a little bit, because we moved. Maybe I should have a closer look to my collection:-) RJ
