    @Tony Press , I have not seen a needle, I do not understand about the pricker rack and needle???

    Can you take a photo of the stove with the cage off that shows the control spindle from the front and side, please.

    I’m working off my phone so clarity of images is not that great.

    Tony is right, it is 123R. It has a cleaning needle built in.

    Thanks. This is a Svea 123R as it has the pricker rack/needle control mechanism. It is still stamped only Svea123.

    The 123R came after and replaced the original Svea123: SVEA 123

    @Tony Press , so looking at the positioning of the valves, the 123R has a valve body with the valve control cast at a 90 degree angle to the vertical body, and the 123 has an angle of about 60 degrees to the main body. Would this be correct?
