Hello Everybody! I have the msr international burner for 3 years. In the last trip I suddenly realized it started leaking fuel through the control valve on the pump.. I opened the valve, checked the O-Ring, it looks ok for me .. anyways, will be happy to hear your options. And another question: I actually don't have any spear o-rings now, somebody can refer me to a standard of these o-rings? I mean can I get a replacement from some other sources, other then Msrs? Best!
Just to make sure, this is the o-ring you're talking about right? The size depends on your specific pump, mine takes the red -007 size. I go with viton for the material when I buy mine, cold weather since I live in Alaska. Description Use Size (AS568A#) Red (small) Control Valve (B Pump) -007 Black (small) Control Valve (A Pump) -008 There is an ebay seller who sells o-ring kits at a reasonable price. I've never checked to see if he has the correct sizes/materials, but the reviews would seem to indicate so.
You can also buy them from Mcmaster Carr or Grainger online. Buna-N would work for material too and is easier to find down to -40degF compliant.
Anyone know what size the green Dragonfly fuel line o-rings are? I can't seem to figure it out. Metric maybe?
That green o-ring for the Dragonfly measures closest to a metric 1.78x6.75, but isn't exactly those specs. That said, I'd feel pretty confident that a 1.78x6.75 would work.
