Handy Campers' Stove

A coil white gas stove probably made in the 1960s. No country of origin on the tin or on the stove.
The stove looks to be unfired or have had very little use.

 

i have one and it really works.putting it out is tricky and i spent some time here looking for ideas that would not sing my eyebrows.

 

Made in Japan.

A coil-burner like this or a Stesco ditto is still high on my “Dear-Stove-Santa” list.

 

Inspired me to take my Stesco out...


Gotta say, this is simplictiy. Remove cork, flick your lighter, presto. This is Jiffy Pop Popcorn. The dogs got their share.

 

Will these work on alcohol?

just a little late reply ,but both of my handy campers stove tins have Japan stamped lightly on the bottom

 

Just saw the pictures on the paper of the types , would love to see a photo of just the paper ,
