Hungarian made FEM spirit stove with its box. I think that it's made by company Fem in Szombathely. Looks that is a product from 70s or 80s
I thought that holes under one pot support might be for handle. Maybe I'll make the hand by myself. Do you have more information about that stove?
In +- 1974 - the same construction was selled as "Danuta" Polsport/BZSS made - rare. In 1980 and later - Hungarian made - was very often sold. Today - on auction - I saw 4 examples. Very cheap. ----- I have two examples. (And Saw A Lot Of - in work.) The both - are constructions misunderstanding, or made for Africa use. Ill send you handle photo...
True these are very cheap. I bought it with four euros. If there wound not have been the box with it there would not have been reason to buy it. Box reminds from old times when carton design was different than nowadays.
AB, Thanks for posting your widely distributed Hungarian campingkocher / spirituskocher / spirit cooker. We do like it's "look" and that there is a box which shows us very helpful details. While here, from what I gather, the diameter on these is 5 1/2" (139mm). Gieorgi has 2 of these and has seen a lot, for him it seems, there may be multiple manufacturers of same stove. Tag words do help searches (incl. typing the words from images), it was a "Polsport" search that landed me here, a nice surprise. Thank you @gieorgijewski . I will also add *tag words, to cross-reference this stove. This maker is FEM or FÉMIPARI SZÖVETKEZET in Szombathely, Hungary. I will say the stove image Gieorgi added above is sold/aka in US as * Precise Phoenix Campster camp stove, the import to US is discussed here , they are the same stove as seen here. thx omc tag @Afterburner and credit Itchy and Kerophile as well for Campster and Hungary connections they had previously posted. tag fempari szovetezet Szombathelyi
Hey fellows older thread but i was looking for information on this stove and especially the instruction booklet to using it.I will include pictures of the kit i have as well. This stove was bought around 1978-79. There were 2 my dad had one and i had one both Christmas gifts. Not sure where they were bought but i have the one my dad had because mine was lost years ago and when he passed away i got the stove. The stove came with a pot a frying pan and 2 dishes..I am currently restoring it.It also came with a carrying case as well.I am trying to find the instruction booklet for the stove so if anyone has one could you provide a scan of it in english please.
Where can we lay hands on one of these spirit stoves? I was just wondering about advice for search terms to reduce the unwanted shoals of Chinese Mini-Trangia clones. Are they still available new? In England we had the Handiware picnic stove. Those creatures were my first exposure to camp stoves.
