This is my nickel plated Stesco at full tilt. And without the wind shield showing the coil in all of its glory. Regards John
My Lil Injun Scout trying to run on Kerosene because I'm not too smart sometimes. Sanity returned and I ran it on white gas. It ran better and longer.
Greetings, All, I am offering my Taiwanese-made Polaris #P2 coil burner stove for your perusal. I have a couple of British Stesco stoves, as well as an American made Stesco, plus three Taykit Pocket stoves. All are very nice. But, the Polaris is a cut above, mainly because of it's class and style, IMHO, as well as it's advanced SRV in the fuel cap. It came to me minus one of the pot supports, and I've always planned to make a replacement. Thus far, I've not done so. BUT, I now have some steel rod that fits the pot support openings. So, the future looks bright! Honestly, though, I will probably never fire up this stove, mainly because it's just so neat just as it is. For the complete story of this neat little Mighty Mite, please check out this thread in the Reference Gallery. Lots to see, including all the paperwork that came with the stove! Polaris P-2 stove, instructions, and catalog. (Taiwan) Thanks, very much, and God Bless! Every Good Wish, Doc
