Picked up this stove recently, thinking the riser would work on an early Optimus 00 Patent. No burner caps or pot supports came with it as usual. No stress cracks. My first attempt at cobbling up some supports. Had burner parts that would work after many times of swapping caps around, even worked sorta with just an outer cap. Working correctly now with a low inner cap and a SH&S outer cap. Switched out the original NRV for a new Swedish one. No matches for the fuel cap gasket, but it holds pressure. Finally delved into making some pot supports, been dragging my feet for over a week to get started, then procrastinated, but was out in the garage late last night and finished the supports. Between figuring out correct measurements, the hardest part was grinding down the ends so they fit into the “D” shaped sockets on the fount. Duane
Thank you, something else to keep dust off the shelves in the garage. Gave me something to do for a few sessions. May attempt to make some supports for one of my Solus stoves now. Duane
