    Ok , fire on the side is not an issue anymore . I get a strong blue flame, it goes for about 30 seconds and then boom a woosh of yellow flame...

    I got the pump to work and got the stove going. It had a nice strong blue flame and then fire started shooting out of the needle control valve....

    Optimus 80 - Help Needed Please...

    Thanks again, was able to change the cap washer with one from a Russian 8R clone. Had a spare one. Worked fine, no air leak, back in business....
