Hi, all. This is my latest addition. I already mentioned it in this post: Can anyone recognize this stove? I was so eager to find out what it was, so I could not wait until it arrived. Hence the post above. Now I have received it, and fettled it. It has an original silent Paraene burner, so I am very happy. I am proven wrong, expecting the burner to have been replaced :-) The stove was in pretty good shape, except for a number of leaks. Air bubbles at the filler neck, kerosene leaking between the riser tube and tank. So they had to be soldered up. Also there was a big lump of solder rattling in the tank. That must be a result of old repair. It was so big it couldn't come out unless smelted. So I did. There are dents under the tank, the worst ones I could 'drag out' by attaching a glue stick. After all the work with blow torch and solder, the patina was gone, and I chose to polish it. I even found a blind nut which can serve as a stopper. I should perhaps grind it on top, to match the more round shape of the original stopper. The trivet is missing, and that is probably hard to come by... In all - this is one of the lovliest, smallest stoves I have (seen)! Cheers, Håvard
