    Hey, Sam,

Outstanding job, Sir!! VERY well done, and thanks for sharing it with us!

What do you do with the stoves you refurbish? Do you keep them to use and enjoy, sell them, or send them to needy Stovies? Just wonderin'..... Take care, and again, wonderful job, Mate! God Bless!

    Every Good Wish,
    Doc

    Well, that's a good question.

    Hmmmmmmmmmmm. It all depends.

If I like the stove when I'm done I keep it. So far, all the Swedish stoves I've refurbed I've kept. All the Coleman stoves I've fettled I've either given away or sold, except for special ones like my 500s. I've given away many 502s and two burners that I've fixed up with the condition that if it breaks or they don't want it anymore, they are to bring it to me to fix or give back. So far, I haven't gotten any back and all parties have been happy with their stove. Cross my fingers... :-k

As for the ones I've kept, I enjoy those over and over along with newly refurbed ones. I'm running into a problem, though, it's getting more difficult to choose which one I'm going to use next since there are more and more to choose from. That's a serious problem, a good one, but serious!

    Hi, Sam,

Thanks, very much, for the info. Are you planning to keep this 111B that you've just finished? If so, did you ever find a wrench for it? Take care, and God Bless!

    Every Good Wish,
    Doc

    Hi Doc,

This 'B' is definitely a keeper. Seems the ones that you expend the most elbow grease on, get attached to you more easily, at least that is true for me!

About that wrench. Some guy out on the west coast USA that does a lot of silbrazing and tons of hole-drilling supplied me with a wrench/spanner for this stove - superbly! It'll be 'Dawg'-gone nice to complete this stove with it.

Take care and God bless you,
    sam

P.S. That was my 1000th post!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Neither of my 111s came with the spanner either but one of them had a pricker in the clip so it doesn't look empty - just a bit silly

    Cheers,
    John
