This 111B came to me already repainted over the rust.

I used electrolysis to remove the old paint and rust. Since I had no original color to go by I repainted gloss black outside and canvas white in. My painting skills aren't good, there's a lot of orange peel in the black.

A short citric acid soak and light polishing of the brass are enough for the working parts, for my purposes.

    Very nice work Techie!

Looks like that stove is ready for some winter camping!

I like the two-tone paint job, don't think I have seen this combo before. White on the inside (think kitchen cooking surface) Black on the outside, basic protective inclosure. Very cool!

I am a big fan of white paint on stove surfaces. Not sure why except it makes the item look clean. Outside whatever floats your boat, inside white is lite.

Haaa, that may be the exact reason, white reflects light and makes it so much easier to see my overcooked or undercooked food.
