I thought I would put pictures up of my 1953 Primus 71. The last owner said that it had not been fired. It doesn't look like it to me...

Hello, if you think this stove has been fired, how do you arrive to that conclusion? It looks very un-used to me!

Is it stamped in the bottom with the yearcode or is it a plate, nearly looks like it?
My Primus71 does not have any stamping at all.
    Best Regards
    Joakim

Near the burner jet and where the chain links up to the valve shaft there is some darker coloration. But then, if you look at everything else, like the filler cap, the spirit cup and other parts there are not any blemishes. Maybe the discoloration is time. At any rate, it was fun to put the stove up for a look.

It is definitely stamped. The picture looks as if the stove is otherwise.
