    Good Day, All,

In a recent thread, posted by my good friend @hikerduane , Duane shared a neat 1955 Primus 210 outfit, that reminded me that I, too, had one of those! Mine was "resting" behind the wooden doors of a cabinet that's down in the Hobbit Hole. Here's Duane's thread:

From seeing his photos, I immediately suspected that our's were from a similar time period, and it turned out, I was right! I've had this kit for quite a few years, and have used it a number of times since having gotten it. Great bit of kit, for sure. I am certain that Duane will see a "family resemblance" right away, as will many others of you!

I am thinking that, with the painted numbers, this particular Primus stove may well have been a rental for a canoe-camping, or wilderness outfitter, but could be wrong.

The "AU" makes this a Twin Brother of Duane's 1955 set! Cool!!

And, in the bottom of the tin, buried underneath the stove and all it's bits and bobs, was this:

I most ardently wish it was in better condition, and had the original owner(s) popped it into a plastic bag, maybe it would have been thus. But, even though it's seen some years of wear, I guess I'm actually blessed and lucky that it's still with the stove!

Duane, thanks, very much, for jogging my memory to realized that we both have the same old Primus setup. Much appreciated! Maybe at a future CASG event, we can take some photos of the two Twin Brothers, side by side, doing what they do best!! Take care, and God Bless!

    Every Good Wish,
    Doc

@Doc Mark, that sounds good comparing them. I tried my spanner this morning, wrong one for the burner, will have to see of I have one with my parts or put it with another stove. Thank you for sharing. Out changing nipples on my 11.
