A Radius No. 22, nickel plated, likely from the early to mid 1930's. This is a later version of the first model 22's (non-discus, unregulated roarer burners, vent screw in fuel cap, etc) that were available in the 1920's. These 'newer' models had a discus-shaped tank coupled with the regulated silent burner # 10/36 with internal cleaning needle. No vent screw, they were designed to be run with regulated burners. This style of the 22's were in production through until at least the 1950's, as shown in this 1950's Catalogue No: 50. Different fuel caps and the most recent versions of the 10/36 burners. This one had no storage tin, pan ring, draughtshield or spanner. Shown in 1932 Radius Catalogue No. 30 with the winged fuel cap. The regulated silent burner 10/36 (circa 1940's) on this one is a replacement for the original 10/36 that came with the stove. Different spindle design, both the handle and the stem. Affixed to burner with cotter pin. Original likely was worn, damaged or blocked so it was replaced ~70 years ago. Burner with 'RADIUS LTD', 'SWEDEN' and Arabic writing around the exterior of rim/skirt. Internal needle was fine and functional. Round, lightly-geared spindle knob labeled 'A.B. RADIUS STOCKHOLM' and 'PATENT'. Metal plate on spindle: 'RENSNING' - Clean, 'STÄNGNING' - Close. Silent outer cap labelled "MADE IN SWEDEN', 'K' and Radius star logo Components, including pilot light with wire gauze at base, not asbestos. Nickel plated spirit dish and extension/riser tube (both unlabeled). Its 3 steel legs painted silver (assuming this was original from factory). One small dimple on fount, minor scratching and some plating issues. Center fount cap, unlabeled, screws onto pump knob when burner is deployed. Fount stamping includes Radius TRADE-MARK star logo. 'No22' and 'MADE IN SWEDEN' Standard Radius 'SOLE MAKERS OF THE GENUINE "RADIUS" APPARATUS' repeated in 9 languages Steel leg sleeves and painted sliver, all original soldering, letter 'N' stamped on fount's rim base. Pump rod is brass but nickel plated. Showing the center fount cap screwed onto pump knob. Typical knurling. Unscrewed. Pump cap stamped 'RADIUS MADE IN SWEDEN' Deployed on stove. Unlabeled winged SRV-enabled fuel cap. NRV removal tool provides access to the SRV's PIP/spring and cup. Underside of stove Stamped 'A.B. RADIUS STOCKHOLM' and 'MADE IN SWEDEN'. To get her safely operational she required one new burner washer (from Fettlebox, the original was cracked and leaked), new viton gaskets for both the center fount cap and fuel cap (originals dried, replaced with those cut from 1/16th" viton). NRV leaked, it was removed (no washer). No PIP (assuming original cork), the brass cup was torn and the threads of the NRV itself were stripped/misaligned. It was replaced with a good spare new NRV (with Viton PIP), added lead washer and screwed back into tank. Pressure tested with air, left overnight, tank retained pressure 24 hours later. Filled 2/3rds with kerosene, pressure generated, again left overnight, no leakage and pressure maintained 24 hours later. With the tank 2/3rds full with kerosene, double primed with methyl hydrate. Running and put kettle on for coffee. The Radius 22 performed well, good heat range with the dependable 10/36 burner although the one she's outfitted with here was very well-used. Passed the rice cooking test (20 minute simmer) and boiled up water in good time. I particularly like the small details of this one, especially the chromed pump rod. A suitable draughtshield can be made out of a tin can or equivalent for use outdoors (and indoors as required).

Oh such a nice old stove. It has a lot going for it - regulated burner, nickel plating, unusual filler cap, discus shape and the Radius shooting star. Thanks for the wonderful set of photos and accompanying commentary.
Looks like I have to nit pick myself too . I wrote "svindle knob". Great presentation of a very nice stove. I would assume 1932 - 33 given the looks of the fuel cap. The same style fuel cap was used on Radius 10 and 12 for a short period of time and then replaced in 1933 - 34 with a bigger patented version, at first with wings and shortly after without wings.
