@Raman Thanks for this post, very interesting. You mention that your square bodied Borde is likely a 2nd generation prototype. Do you have any information on the original prototype? Cheers, Jerry
bump Thank you @Raman. This an excellent Borde reference thread . Ben you're a lucky man, congrats on the score (oldest known Borde example?). FYI to Borde fans, re dating. Ski hut changed (the image of) the Borde version offered 1952 vs 1953. In illustration it "looks like" there might be 2 different sizes (begs question what are tank capacities?). 1952 1953 source Has CCS covered Borde production run: approx. when Ben's 1st Borde came out (when was last)? Ski Hut is not hard dating but that specific change was made, this is a dating indicator. I have no idea if all the versions had linear development or if multiple versions were offered at the same time? The different sizes could lean to maybe multiple versions at same time (but, maybe not) . PS I said then of the Ski Hut pgs."This is multiple revelations in one, a very exciting development." This is a SIGG/Borde revelation, there are more. tag @z1ulike, 1825 views
