Some else mentioned the fresh paint smell, since the seller has an army surplus place it may suit him to have them look "GI" and serve to "freshen them up some." The finish on my Blue original paint is pretty good really. The bent valve stem looks to be from a drop of the unit. Further tweaking has the valve stem near straight. When I read the part about burning at least two full tanks in each one I thought, "I doubt it."

As you Arch, I can see why people like these stoves too. oh, it looks a little bigger than I thought it would too.

    Regards, Ed

Here is a shot of my $54 special. We were camping at a Kenosha Pass, Colorado campground at 10,000'. A Scout parent had tried to make coffee with his 12V coffee maker when the air temp was 11F. No go, so I got out my setup.

    Hi all

Got my second stove today. Not repainted. Pretty good shape. Had to adjust the burner angle a little. Fired right up. This one too came with the restrictor.

Easter Holidays in Norway next week. Enjoy and may be some stove pictures after the holidays. :p :p

    Regards

    54$ / stove?
    For a 111T?
They goes for 250-400Nkr up here.
    That should be app. 42-66$
So 54$ is not that bad for a US 111T

Its a pretty good deal. Its buy now , no waiting. And if he auctioned them on Ebay . He would get about $120 for them. I,m using one of mine regularily since last winter. It does get a lot of attention. And I dont worry about messing the paint up either.
