Awhile back I asked a question about my early model MSR "747-taking-off" stove. A few of you replied, offering advice and suggestions--all much appreciated.

One, HunterStovie in Colorado, said "I've got some spares for that stove. Tell me what you need."

Upshot of it is me getting the right piece/assembly from a generous guy a few states away.

    A gift, he said.

I'm not a devotee of many forums and I tend to lurk more than post, but HunterStovie deserves some public commendation as does the forum for including folks, giving folks, helpful folks, like him.

Thanks to all of you, for this forum and for a member named HunterStovie.
