We have a ""Kitchen Kook, Model 822, Patented Jan 4, 1927. American Gas machine Company, Inc. Albert Lea, Minn "" stove, very very similar to the one DDay has that started this thread. I think it has been in the family since it was bought, and I think the last time it may have been fired up was around 1960. Its been in an attic ever since. I have no idea how to operate it. Does anyone has a operating manual, or know where to find one or a reproduction? We would like very much to learn of any information any of you may have about this stove.

Our stove is a little different from DDay's in that we do not have the right front knob shown in DDay's photos. Instead, there is a little toggle valve up under the grate area.

    Thanks for your interest.
