It looks like the single burner version of the one I took an initial look at in THIS thread Nick. No manufacturer's identification on mine either and no trace in the Ultimheat catalogue resource here on CCS.

I'd appreciate sight of any other side to the instructions (no clue of the manufacturer there?) and more of that sales card(?)

Another unknown (to me!) french stove! It looks like you 're missing la sourdine (the silent cap N°627), otherwise the stove looks to be in good nick, Nick!;) It is the first time I see the recommandation to use castor oil (huile de ricin) for lubing the pump leather.
If you'd like the instructions translated, just shout!

    Best regards,

    Wim

    A very nice stove!
The price ticket seems to be in the old French currency (vieux Franc) which was replaced in January 1960 by the Nouveau Franc (NF). 100 vieux Francs = 1 NF

    Best Regards

Why not, castor oil was use for lubricating engines until some decades ago !

It is still used as mounting oil for some applications, because it helps slipping, and sticks when dryed.

You are faster than me for the translation !

    Regards,
    Sylvain

The instruction was printed in Paris (14th Arr.). Imp. B??quet, 118 rue de la Tombe Issoire. If you find out how long this printing company existed, you have a second, earlier date.

Hi Sylvain @patatwin , I used to put a little castor oil in my old BSA's petrol tank because I liked the smell! Many motor cross riders used it in their engines when I was young. Also in racing bikes it was THE lubricant, but the engines needed to be completely dismantled and cleaned (the castor oil would oxidise and become a thick paste, and there was some carbonisation to). It seems Jojoba oil was slightly better!

    Best regards,

    Wim

    Hi frome France!
I have this one at home: not the same ( two burners),
but the pump is exactly the same!
The feet of mine are slightly different (art deco style), but you can read the name of the brand on button: COBRA
I already posted on a French forum but nobody knows and nobody had documention
So this model is very close to mine and documentation interested me a lot !! This is much like LILOR, but the name COBRA button gives the answer; should check on the box or documents if LILOR or COBRA names appear somewhere ???
    nice find

    Serge

PS: it is possible to send me a personal email that full documentation?

    @Serge
How close? The burner valve mechanism is hidden by the decorative chrome covers.

Here's the arrangement on my twin-burner version ...

Thanks Serge. Tantalising similarities yet sufficient differences to put a big question-mark against the manufacturer being Cobra - I think!

Il think this stove is probably " Melius ", other name in France for Cobra brand.
This picture on a old catalogue can to see an older type, but it s the same, few years to late.
    I think, i m not sur. ....

Thanks again Serge, but I see even less of a resemblance than your Cobra - the fuel tank's at the back, knobs and not levers ...
