does anyone have a photo of this particular juwel burner head. Im not sure if the previous owner hammered on this cap or if its just the inner portion of a silent buerner cap. I've been looking bur cannot find a complete pic of the burner. If anyone has one.... I'd love to see it.

I have this burner head as part of a Juwel 6 set that came in the original rough metal case. This and all my stoves are in storage during our move to Corvallis, Oregon. My recall is that the cap is part of the burner and not "hammered" on. I don't recall if I have the rest of the parts. I will try to check the first chance I get, it may be a few weeks though. We are about half way through our move. BTW I was looking at that one! Congrats!!!

Just got back to Santa Rosa (528 miles) from Corvallis for the forth and, hopefully, final cargo trailer load of household "stuff". Also have to get Santa Rosa house ready rent. Hope to be headed back to Corvallis (GO BEAVERS!!) within three weeks. i will try to find that burner head then.

We might have to think about putting together a meet next year for the northwestern brothers. I had a great meet with Doc and Baja a while back. We entertained quite a few campers with our stoves. The best thing is that we didn't start any fires that we couldn't put out. Though it was a close call with a few of them. There are pictures on this site.

I get up that way about 3-4 times a year, I could probably convince the Boss to head over for a while...
We usually go up early march (Brrrr), Sometime in June/July to mow weeds, and November for turky time.
    Maybe find someplace central ?

Thanks for the kind words Doc!!

I love the wine country and my wife, Patrice, was actually born here. But, we have decided to semi-retire to the Corvallis area for many reasons. Not the least among them is that our son, Patrick, is starting high school and Corvallis is a college town, OSU. Patrice loves the lay back feeling we get there. She says that it reminds her of Santa Rosa about 25 to 30 years ago. Now Santa Rosa is headed toward being the San Jose of the North Bay.

If the NW meet does materialize I think that Harris Beach State Park (Oregon) in Brookings is a great location. It is located just about 10-15 miles north of the boarder on a great sand beach. You can actually get into the water there. Like almost all Oregon State Parks it is about 4 times nicer than the average California State Park. The only thing is that it is popular and reservations have to be made well in advance. Each site will have water and power. There are a lot of things to see and do in the area for those who want take a few days out of it. Something to think about anyway
