I've finally succumbed and bought this No12 stove.
It's in excellent condition, no usage marks or handling marks, however I suspect it was used for something at some point, as one leg of the spring clip that holds the funnel in place is broken off, see picture.
The inside of the tank was clean and no fuel smell at all.
All the seals were soft and pliable, even the pump washer, however I still soaked it in oil for a couple of hours before carrying out a dunk test.
25 pumps and dunked in hot water, no leaks found, no bubbles so no troubles:)
Preheater tray didn't leak either once filled with meths, and it lit first time, gave it a run of about 45mins with no problems, even when trying the pricker to clean the jet.
Also got a good simmer from it as well.
Apologies for the blurry flame shot but it shows how good the flame is.
I'm very lucky to have found this, epecially in such good condidion.

@Tim Read - very, very nice…looks new to me.

I would suggest contacting TOC (Tools of Coventry) who manufactured the No.12…maybe they can supply you with a replacement clip?

    Thanks everyone.
@Ed Winskill , Yes, from what I've seen available, it is.
@Pharael , Thanks, will drop them a line and see what they say.
@presscall , Yes, from looking at the problems that other on here have had I think I'm very lucky to have found a good one.
One thing I've noticed is that it seems to roar slightly differently to all the other roarer burners I've got, it may just be me but I've noticed a slight difference.
