Hi Tim, I found 4 sets of these "eating Irons" from the early 1960s recently when clearing out my mother's house. They are excellent, the knife in particular which takes a really sharp edge.
My niece, who camps a lot with her family, took them and they are on a camping trip to the Western Isles at this very moment.
    Best Regards,
    Kerophile

My camping set is slightly older:
    Bone handles btw.

    A little trivia.
Do you know why knives have/had a rounded tip?
French king Louis XIV, found it revolting that his guests picked their teeth with the knife after eating and ordered all knives ground blunt pointed.

Quite possible, but i do know that in a pinch you can brew on it with nothing but hot water and get a decent cupper
