I have a different type of Chinese camping stove that came with 3 jets one for gasoline/napatha, one for alcohol, and one for diesel/kerosene. You guys probably need the third jet.
It seems to me that even if the Chinese consumer doesn't use liquid fuel, the camp stoves have pre-heat tubes so they've been designed for it's use. Gas only stoves don't need a preheater.
