I purchased a whole collection of coleman Lanterns Lamps and Stoves today. I got about 1/3 of them home. I started the task of idenifieing and labeling. I have a spreadsheet to put them onto my cpu to keep track of them. There was supposed to be around 430 of them but I think that # is closer to 500. I will post some more pics as I get them. Here is a shot of a small part of the stoves. I will be offering up this whole thing for sale once we have it cataloged If it doesnt sell as a whole It will all go on ebay a piece at a time.

    Wow I'm in awe!

Let us know when they go up on the block. I'm sure many here would like a shot at some of them and would be willing to pay a fair price.

Best of luck with your flip. What could be better than making some money doing what you love to do for a hobby!

    I'm jeleous.

I don't think that is a normal collection. It looks to me like they cleaned out their barn and splitbus got lucky and hit the jadkpot.

    WELL DONE LAD

There are a couple of items there i would sure like to have myself.

I was buying a little bit of coleman stuff from this guy recently ( bought a really nice 8r and my 111b from him also) and he asked me if I would be interested in a collection?? I was not really positive about it at first but I told him I would look @ it. When I saw what he had I went upside down with excitement. I found a partner (my brother) and talked my lovely wife into it. We are trying to get it all crammed into my 2 car garage and a motor home. It turned out to be more stuff that we thought. As we keep digging (literaly) we keep unearthing more stuff. If any is interested I can email you the spreadsheet when I get It completed. For me and my brother it was a no brainer. The price was very right and we get to see stuff and play with it a little that we would never have the chance too. I just picked up my first Coleman in Sept of 06 (four months ago) Do you think that it is a sickness??

This is the kind of sickness which is good for you. I can assure you you'll never need a nurse to cure you of this. Really there is no cure so just sit back and relax and enjoy the ride.

EeeGads Man, what a haul. Do you live at the same old address? My cousin Vinnie from Philly is coming over to see you. He has a list, do as he says. :D

    Congrads on the haul, Ed

    Hi splitbus

It sounds as if you are hoping to sell this on as a complete collection.
I hope you don't mind if I say I hope this does not happen.
If you can't sell the whole collection, you say you will put items on eBay.
From the photos, there are a number of items I would love to see on eBay.

Whatever happens, I wish you good luck with your venture. |imgRemoved|

Beautiful! Simply beautiful. I would also love a chance at some of this but alas, there's no room in the inn at the moment for such a collection. Best of luck with whatever you decide to do with it, and thanks for sharing the news of your good fortune with us.

My only advice to you would be ,know what you have ,decide what you need to sell to recoup your investment and save what you can.I know a guy that did exactly what you are doing but because he did not do his homework he sold a lot of pieces he has regreted selling. it sounds like you are heading in the right direction with a spread sheet first. I might suggest getting those little paper tags with string and give each a catalogue number. Dan
