You "can" prime with kerosene, but then you need a wick of some type since kero is difficult to light on it's own, and it WILL be a sooty mess when your done. Mike
Great flame shots. This is a most interesting thread. I plan to convert one of my 502's to kerosene simply to have versatility of fuel use and besides it just seems like a cool stovie thing to do it. buzz
