Good to know. Those measurements correspond nicely with what is found for gasoline/petrol vs kerosene jets on several other stoves.

Today I could continue my measurements. I used our digital-microscope with back- and top-light and x-y-backlight-table.

It seems that we have 2 sizes of holes in the nozzle:

    a) for kerosene: 0,28 mm (with corresponding 0,23 mm wire)
    b) for gasoline: 0,36 mm (with corresponding 0,30 mm wire)

    (Please see pictures below)

    Nicely done
The sizes are as expected for comparable kerosene and benzine fuels :content:

I apologize for the necro post comment. I've had a Canadian made 550 for awhile that didn't come with the kero genny, the supply of them has dried up stateside. Has anyone used the jet ,if possible, off a kero lantern as a swap? I tried searching but most things that show up relate to a generator swap. Maybe the wire and jet of a 445 kero generator? Those are still available.
