I was lucky to find one of these very nice old stoves.

When I bought it, the tin was painted with «silver» color. There was no indication that the beautiful, purple decor was hidden underneath.
After careful use of paint stripper, I was able to find some of it’s former glory. Very happy with that!

The stove has a Primus burner, which I guess is a later replacement. It does need a proper cleaning inside.
Did Emperor have burners with their own brand?

Except for the burner, I think the other parts are original.

Great stove! It was very good that you were able to retain the original paintwork.

    Cheers
